The BlackBerry Storm Smartphone from Verizon Wireless is the first of its kind to offer touch-screen capabilities. This enhancement improves the touch interface and makes precision typing much easier than keypad phones. This is the first “clickable” touch screen on the market that not only imitates a physical keyboard but also provides support for multi-touch, single-touch and gesturing for system navigation. Because this phone is offered through Verizon Wireless, users are provided with a high speed 3G CDMA network in the U.S. which is compatible with networks worldwide.
The BlackBerry Storm offers a Sure Press touch screen with tactile click response so users can easily type and navigate throughout the applications available. The phone also boasts a built-in accelerometer, when the phone is rotated, that automatically switches the screen between landscape and portrait. This phone is also compatible with V Cast Music and Rhapsody so users can purchase and download their favorite songs through Verizon's EV-DO network.
