Samsung Gravity
A lot of mobile phones that are available in the market nowadays have certain features and applications that would make you want to crash and burn. What actually defies gravity – the idea that what come must come down is indeed the Samsung Gravity mobile phone. No other phone will make you want to just throw it away in disgust since certain features just do not work to your advantage.
Ever since Samsung Gravity emerged in the market, the first impulse to do was test it and sad to say, there were different features that were not taken cared of:
Pros:
- Slide out QWERTY keyboard
- SMS options were ok and fast
- Small battery but could last for 6 hours
- Music played in MP3 format were very clear
Cons:
- Basic features that were underpowered
- Address Books left out the more executive user field like company name that you can’t add anymore
- Icons rotated really slow when you try to open it
- Outdated OS
- 3G network was non-existent
- No WiFi
- GPS Navigation could only let you to get lost
- Connectivity signals were always 1-2 bars especially during voice calls
- Voice Dialing is non-existent
This is just to show that the disadvantages outweigh the good things about the Samsung Gravity. Have you ever seen a camera that has 1.3 Megapixels that came from Samsung? The usual resolution they actually offer begins with 2.0 and above but even though it is such a small segment of the whole phone, it still says some about the entire phone. It has dull tones even with a flash or an assisted flash. You could not start with a photo blog if you’d use the Samsung Gravity since there is absolutely nothing to see when it gets dark.

Second Review
When Samsung released the Gravity, there were unending complaints about the phone even though it appeared to be at par with the design segment. Yes, it had a QWERTY keypad as well as the touch-screen keyboard. It is much the same with the new release of the Samsung Gravity 2. Speaking of the external keypad, in the first release, the spaces were quite tiny that made large-sized fingers complete one word without having the need to type a wrong spelling.
Have you ever seen the screen of the Samsung Gravity 2? At first it was heaven-sent since a 2.3-inch QVGA screen that showed off a bright light actually sent a long line in the cashier window to get hold of the phone. Unfortunately, after testing the brightness over the next few days, the brightness seemed to lack in its luster already as if the phone took the night off beside a magnet. It became polarized so the look changed from the initial test.
Speaking of something beneficial for the Samsung Gravity 2, it has a stylish appearance as compared with the other handy phones that also has the dual slide keypad. Backing up a good appearance is the good quality of voice calls. You would not be caught in the middle of the street with a sleek phone with you shouting and grimacing since you can’t hear a thing. All thanks to 5.5 hours of the phone’s battery life.
If you want faster time for email downloads, do not choose the Samsung Gravity 2 since this is one of the unfortunate mistake that the mobile phone has. It actually would take you forever to even open an email attachment so technically, it is not designed to be a executive phone just like the Omnia or other newer models that were manufactured by Samsung.
