Samsung Instinct S30
The Samsung Instinct® S30™ is a full touch-screen phone. Its large 3.2” display is best for touch controlling and multimedia features. It is fully equipped with instant messaging, internet browsing and syncing tools.
It has a bar form factor. With its 4.61" x 2.16" x 0.52" dimensions and 110 grams weight, handling it is comfortable. The design is basically the same with its direct predecessor, the Instinct™. However, side by side comparison will show S30’s more rounded edges and “aerodynamic” design. Input is facilitated by a virtual keyboard.
Being a full touch screen device, it fully responds to tactile commands. There are single press shortcuts at the bottom of the screen. The large virtual keyboard makes sure that you don’t press incorrectly. With the built-in accelerometer, rotating the handset can change the orientation of the keyboard. These have lots of applications like muting a call or an alarm.
Samsung Instinct® S30™ remained with the basic features while competitors ventured into more applications and games. However, S30 is still unmatched in turn-by-turn navigation. The GPS navigation system of the S30 earned numerous positive reviews. It is a feature lacking from the Apple iPhone. With Live Search, you can get updates on location data and nearby activities. Use the GPS for quick way finding.
Palm-top browsing is made easy by Samsung Instinct® S30™. You can now choose how to surf the web. Use the HTML browser to manage your emails or download files quickly. If you want to view the webpage details in full, use the Opera 4.2 mini browser.
S30 have personal organizer features including a calculator, notepad, timer and alarm clock. You can also perform computer syncing via cable or Bluetooth.
Bluetooth 2.0 allows the Samsung Instinct® S30™ to be paired with your PC or other devices. By enhancing with Bluetooth headsets, you can do your work and answer calls at the same time.
